Behavioral Health Education Center of Nebraska
One of the key objectives of BHECN is to recruit, train and empower health providers and care-givers. With ongoing training, these providers will have the skills to break down barriers and provide appropriate mental health care solutions to people and communities across Nebraska. The eventual result will be that those in need who live in the state can be within reach of a collaborative, interprofessional team of behavioral health care specialists when they need treatment and help toward their recovery.

The Nebraska Resource and Referral System (NRRS) is a statewide database created with input from Nebraska families, service providers and organizations. The database was designed as a comprehensive Internet resource that is user friendly and easily accessible to individuals and families needing services across the state. The NRRS provides Web site and email contacts, as well as toll-free hotlines to help users connect faster to desired services and organizations.

Project Relate
